“Say unto them, as truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.” Num 14:28. The Lord spoke these words about the children of Israel after they murmured against Him upon hearing the negative report from the spies. Despite witnessing over a dozen miracles in the wilderness—one each month—and experiencing the mighty hand of God through the ten plagues in Egypt, they still doubted when it was time to enter their promise. Instead of speaking words of faith, used their mouths to release a death sentence over themselves. God responded with the statement:“ As you have said in my hearing, that I will do.” This meant He would allow their own words to shape their outcome. Let us speak life and great things! Give God positive words to work with.
